According to Mr. Anele, today’s graduates belong to a privileged generation with access to remote work, global markets, digital entrepreneurship, and AI-driven solutions, opportunities that make it possible to earn competitively, collaborate internationally, and outperform previous generations—if they are bold enough to adapt and innovate.

He encouraged the graduates to deliberately build strong and credible professional identities online, particularly on platforms such as LinkedIn, stressing that visibility, networking, personal branding, and continuous learning are no longer optional but essential in a highly competitive global job market. He noted that technology and AI have redefined the world of work, rewarding those who are agile, digitally skilled, and forward-thinking.

Beyond technology, the UBA Cameroon Managing Director emphasized the enduring importance of discipline, integrity, professionalism, and character, reminding graduates that while technology may open doors, it is values and competence that sustain success. He urged them to combine technical expertise with ethical leadership as they step into the world of work.
