The President of HIBMAT University Institute of Buea, Dr. Jude Chilaka, on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, carried out an inspection visit to Campus C of the institution in Buea, where painting and finishing works are currently ongoing.
Workers were seen actively engaged in their tasks as they race against time to complete a section of the campus that will soon host the School of Health Sciences. The visit forms part of the administration’s continued commitment to ensuring that all learning environments meet the high standards required for quality professional education.
Accompanied by the Dean of the School of Health Sciences, Dr. Ngonsai Tufon Darlene, Dr. Chilaka inspected the classrooms, reviewed the quality of painting, and examined other facilities within the campus. He expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and encouraged the workers to accelerate the pace of work to meet the set deadlines.
Both the HIBMAT President and the Dean, whose students will soon occupy the new campus, were visibly impressed with the progress of the project and the quality of work being delivered.
Meanwhile, students from the School of Health Sciences officially joined their counterparts on October 28th, 2025, to begin the 2025/2026 academic year in a colorful ceremony that commenced with a Holy Mass at the amphitheatre of Campus B. The event marked a new chapter in the institution’s ongoing commitment to excellence in education and holistic student development.
The construction and development of Campus C form part of HIBMAT’s broader infrastructural expansion plan aimed at providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning. The new campus, which will host modern laboratories, classrooms, and administrative offices, underscores HIBMAT’s mission to deliver quality, hands-on professional education that prepares students to meet national and global workforce demands.
