On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Tourism and Hotel Management students from HIBMAT University Institute’s Douala Campus embarked on an enriching industrial visit to Marcsons Hotel and Resort and Etisalan Beach in Limbe. Designed to merge classroom theory with industry practice, the trip empowered students to refine their professional skills while showcasing HIBMAT’s commitment to experiential learning.
Guided by faculty, the students explored operational workflows in luxury hospitality and coastal tourism management. From guest service protocols at Marcsons to sustainable tourism practices at Etisalan Beach, the visit equipped learners with actionable insights into today’s dynamic hospitality sector.
“This hands-on exposure bridges the gap between textbooks and real-world challenges,” remarked one participant. “It’s how HIBMAT prepares us to lead in global tourism.”
