HIBMAT University Institute of Buea (HUIB), which recently moved from a Higher Institute to a University Institute with Authorization number 22-02654/L/MINESUP/DDES/SD-ESUP/SDA/LAN of 20 April 2022 is, however, changing that.
The restructuring of HUIB as a University Institute by the Ministry of Higher Education, the consistent excellent results in national exams, successful alumni, and many more are testament to its unflinching mission to train highly sought-after Business, Engineering, and Health Professionals.
And to continue with this mission, HIBMAT University Institute of Buea (HUIB) has launched admissions into its three schools on its campuses in Buea and Douala for the 2022/2023 academic year:

- Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology
- Higher Institute of Health Sciences
